Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive significant business growth, increase market share, and enhance profitability. Focus on expanding both local and regional markets, while exploring new business avenues and partnerships. Prioritize growth in outside sales, leveraging customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities to accelerate expansion.
  • Outside Sales Leadership: Take a hands-on approach to outside sales, driving direct sales activities and forming strong relationships with key clients. Develop strategies to increase our customer base, expand into new territories, and enhance sales outreach initiatives, ensuring business growth in all areas.
  • Entrepreneurial Leadership: Foster an entrepreneurial culture within the organization, encouraging innovation and creativity across all departments. Empower the sales team to explore new opportunities, while also ensuring operational excellence.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement. Work with operations teams to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies that could hinder growth and profitability.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial goals are met. Maintain a close eye on revenue generation from both existing and new accounts, ensuring alignment with strategic growth initiatives.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Implement training programs to empower employees in both sales and operational roles, ensuring they contribute to the company's growth objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute long-term business strategies aligned with company goals. Regularly evaluate and adjust strategies based on market trends and customer feedback to remain competitive.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Identify opportunities for deeper partnerships and long-term customer retention through exceptional service and consistent communication.
  • Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives to drive growth and organizational transformation. Embrace a continuous improvement mindset to foster an adaptable and resilient company culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including investors, partners, and board members. Present business growth metrics and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment and support from all involved parties.
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Business Owner, or in a similar entrepreneurial leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of business functions such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
  • Proven experience in outside sales with a strong ability to build new customer relationships and drive growth.
  • Demonstrate track record of driving business growth, expanding market reach, and increasing profitability.
