Home Security Business Development Sales Manager
About the Role:
We are looking for a Sales Manager - Home Security Business Development to lead sales growth for our home and office security solutions. This role requires a proven track record in digital marketing sales, affiliate sales, and business development within the home security industry. The ideal candidate will drive strategic partnerships, manage sales channels, and optimize performance to scale our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive home security sales.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through digital marketing, affiliate sales, and B2B partnerships.
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients and affiliates.
- Set and track sales KPIs, ensuring monthly and quarterly targets are met.
- Affiliate & Channel Sales Management
- Recruit, onboard, and manage affiliate partners and independent sales reps to increase customer acquisition.
- Establish and optimize commission structures and incentive programs for affiliate partners.
- Oversee affiliate training programs to enhance their ability to generate high-quality leads.
- Digital & Performance Marketing Sales
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to leverage Google, Facebook, and YouTube ads for lead generation.
- Convert inbound leads generated through digital marketing efforts into successful sales.
- Work with content and creative teams to develop effective messaging, landing pages, and retargeting campaigns.
- Partnerships & B2B Sales
- Establish strategic partnerships with real estate agencies, property managers, and businesses to integrate security solutions into their offerings.
- Pitch and close deals with home automation companies, internet providers, and smart home retailers.
- Operational & CRM Management
- Utilize CRM tools to track, report, and analyze sales performance.
- Work closely with call center teams and sales reps to optimize the customer conversion process.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or affiliate marketing within the home security, smart home, or IoT industries.
- Strong background in digital marketing sales, performance marketing, and affiliate sales.
- Experience working with Google, Facebook, YouTube Ads, and CRM tools.
- Proven ability to recruit, manage, and scale affiliate programs and sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits:

Suggested Compensation Package:
Base Salary:
- $90,000 - $120,000 per year (Depending on experience)
Performance-Based Commissions & Bonuses:
- Commission on Sales & Affiliate Growth:
- 1-3% of total sales revenue generated (or a structured per-unit commission)
- Performance bonuses tied to quarterly sales targets
- Additional bonuses for successful affiliate acquisition & high-performing campaigns
- OTE (On-Target Earnings):
- $150,000 - $200,000+ annually (with commissions & bonuses)
