Job Summary
We're looking for a highly organized and personable individual to support both sales and operations. In this hybrid role, you'll handle inbound inquiries, estimate project costs, schedule jobs, and support day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with the owner and lead craftsman, playing a critical role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
This is primarily a remote position, but you must be located near Sandy, Utah, and available for a weekly in-person team meeting ( 1 hour/week).
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to all lead sources (calls, emails, messages); follow up regularly
- Interact with customers to understand needs, present services, and book appointments
- Manage the craftsmen's schedules and job calendar
- Create and send estimates for smaller handyman jobs; escalate complex projects as needed
- Send invoices upon job completion and support basic financial tracking
- Maintain accurate records, client communications, and job documentation
- Track project budgets, costs, and change orders
- Assist the owner with managing day-to-day operations, team coordination, and customer success
Base Qualifications
- Strong customer service and sales abilities
- Familiarity with home improvement trades and pricing
- Positive, professional demeanor that builds client trust
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfort using technology tools (email, scheduling, CRM, etc.)
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with homeowners on residential construction projects
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting (a plus)
- Proficiency with CRM systems or project management tools
- Experience using QuickBooks Online or other bookkeeping systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $20-$30, depending on experience
- Performance-based bonuses
- Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends)
