Home Health Advantage is an established and growing home healthcare company that has been servicing patients in Chicago Land areas including, South, Southwest, North and Northwest Suburbs of Chicago (McHenry, Winnebago, Boone, Grundy, Kankakee, Lake, Grundy, Kankakee, Kane, Will, DuPage, and Cook Counties) seeking a high-energy, self-initiating, and caring RN clinician who enjoys onboarding new home health nurses, performing competency in the field and monitoring infection control practices. Must be an RN with strong clinical skills such as infusion (IVP, TPN, PICC and portacath care), wound care and wound vac, OASIS and comprehesnive assessment skills, ostomy care, urinary catheter insertions, clinical bag technique, pleurix care, nephrosotmy tube care, and PEG/GT feeding care. Your organizational skills and strong understanding of home health, geriatric care, and previous experience in home health will be required. Must be willing to travel to all geographic areas in order to support our clinical team members. Would consider a part time candidate with a minimum of 2 days per week but prefer full time.

Qualifications:
  • Valid state issued Registered Nurse License
  • A working knowledge of Medicare home health requirements
  • Strong clinical knowledge and background
  • Ability to set objectives and develop action plans. Ability to handle sensitive issues and resolve difficulties not routine in nature
  • Ability to obtain cooperation from or influence others
  • Must have positive and professional skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate computer knowledge and skills.
  • Must be highly and consistently organized.
  • Enjoys educating clinicians
  • Minumum 2 years of Home Health Care experince
  • Knowledge of Kinnser/Wellsky

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Planning, direction, coordinatation and monitoring the delivery of the clinical services to Agency home health care clients.
  • Participate in the Management of the Agency's clinical teams and provides the overall supervision of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, home health aides, therapists, social workers and other clinical personnel employed by the Agency or with whom the agency contracts for services.
  • Assists in the planning, development and establishment of Agency structure, clinical and administrative policies and procedures, annual operating plan and capital budgets.
