Family-owned company in the Des Moines, IA area is growing and looking to add an experienced Hollow Metal Door Shop Lead to the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily shop operations including quality control, hollow metal door and frame fabrication and modification, and inventory management
- Cutting, grinding, welding, and finishing work
- Field labor projects as necessary
- Mainting prouction goals and modify for shop schedule
Qualificaitons:
- 5 years experience with hollow metal door & frame production
- Extensive industry knowledge of product manufacturers
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Light guage MIG welding and finishing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic understanding of computers and tablets (iPad preferred)
- Hollow metal door and frame installation experience is a plus
- Woodworking background is a plus
