Full-Time Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate to join our team. Our
Front Desk staff is the first point of contact and first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable, service, and helpful guidance reassure guests they have made the right choice to stay with us. To deliver a great guest experience, the
Desk Agent/Night Auditor checks guests in and out efficiently and ensures they have all they need for a great stay. Hospitality experience is preferred but not required, and we will provide on-the-job training to individuals serious about a long-term role in the industry. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Lanier. Duties and Responsibilities: - Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
- Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Ensure required identification is collected from guests at check in.
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Upsell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns.
- Record guest preferences in the system.
- Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures.
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
- Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.
- Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times and report any health or safety incidents, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty. In addition, an auditor will also be required to check all postings for accuracy and make corrections when necessary.
Qualifications: - Prefer front desk/guest service experience. Proficient in Opera is preferred.
- Frequently standing up behind the front desk and front office area.
- Basic computer skills to operate various property management and reservations systems.
- Passion for customer service and public-facing position.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with guests and team members.
- Problem-solving skills, reasoning, and exceptional attention to detail are required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
