Job Description: Brains and Motion Education is looking for passionate and energetic instructors to join our Holiday Camp team. If you thrive in a lively environment, enjoy inspiring young minds, and want a rewarding, fun experience, this is the role for you.
As a Holiday Camp Instructor, you'll lead engaging activities, spark creativity, and build connections with students ages 6 to 14. We provide everything you need, from our innovative, industry-leading curricula to all the materials for hands-on learning, allowing you to focus on what you do best-teaching and inspiring kids.
In this role, you will: - Instruct and manage a group of up to 10-12 campers.
- Utilize your subject-specific expertise to bring to life curriculum for campers.
- Ensure a fun, safe atmosphere that creates memorable experiences for all campers.
- Learn or utilize effective classroom management skills
Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience working in a camp environment.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about coaching and teaching kids in grades TK-8
- Ability to work with kids in Grades TK-8
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with both campers and their parents.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to recognize and either quickly resolve or raise up conflicts that may arise between campers.
- Ability to foster the personal growth of all campers and ensure a fun, safe and welcome environment.
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Background check required.
- Ability to lift and carry 20-50 lbs. on an occasional basis with or without accommodations.
Details: - Wage: $19/hour
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Availability: Monday-Friday, (8:00 AM-6:00 PM) Start Date: April 14, 2025
