3 Years HOA Residential Real Estate Attorney

Are you an experienced attorney with a passion for community association law? We are seeking a HOA Residential Real Estate Attorney to join our Charlotte, NC team. This role is ideal for a skilled legal professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to providing top-tier counsel to HOAs.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide legal advice and guidance on HOA-related matters, including governance, contracts, bylaws, and compliance.
  • Support HOA boards and management companies by facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Conduct legal research on real estate and community association issues, ensuring clients remain informed of regulatory changes.
  • Handle some litigation, including enforcement actions and dispute resolution.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including declarations, amendments, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediation, and other legal proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Must be licensed to practice law in both North Carolina (South Carolina is a plus).
  • Experience in HOA law, real estate law, or community association law preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Litigation experience is a plus but not required.
