Job Description
This role can support TN visa's and or H1-B sponsorship as long as you're currently located in the United States.
We are looking for an experienced HMI Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS. With a significant number of UPS controls system upgrades planned for the next two years, we need a dedicated professional to manage multiple projects and collaborate with various engineering disciplines and teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using Indusoft and Wonderware.
- Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, and computer and networking equipment.
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software.
- Engage in site commissioning activities.
- Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
- Provide technical support to project team members.
- Lead and direct the work of others.
Essential Skills
- Strong Experience with HMI's
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA software (Factory Talk, FT Optix, Wonderware, Indusoft)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of IoT, PLC programming, Python, and VBScript
Work Environment
This role involves up to 80% travel to customer sites across the United States. All travel is covered such as loding, airfare, rental cars, etc. Plus GSA per diem is offered while traveling for 3 meals a day. They work a 10 days on travel schedule with 4 days off once you return home.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
