Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing tissue samples for microscopic examination, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of histology, including tissue fixation, embedding, sectioning, and staining.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform quality control checks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology or related field preferred.
- ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist (HT) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
