Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining

Prepare high-quality histologic slides for diagnostic interpretation

Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens

Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies in accordance with regulatory guidelines
-
Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
-
ASCP certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred

Associate s or Bachelor s degree in a related science field

Minimum of 1 year of histology experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory best practices
