The School and Role
As a Three Form entry primary school in the borough of Bolton, HLTA support is crucial to the running of classes. Higher Level Teaching Assistants bring a wealth of curriculum knowledge in at least Maths, English and Science and then are able to use planned materials to support in the absence of a Teacher.

Does sound like you, a passionate and highly skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Level 3 with PPA cover experience looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic and well-organised school in Bolton? Confident to support Reception Year 3 is desirable for this role.

Requirements

To be considered for the role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, HLTA, you will:

  • Provide high-quality support across all core subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc.) to Year 6 students
  • Ensure a well-structured learning environment and smooth delivery of lesson plans
  • Mark and provide live feedback to students in a supportive and constructive manner
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills to ensure a positive and focused learning atmosphere
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and staff to monitor student progress and provide targeted support as needed
