Summary
The Taholah School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a High School Football Coach. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the game, strong leadership skills, and a desire to mentor young athletes both on and off the field.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective training programs and practice schedules that enhance player skills and team performance.
- Organize and conduct daily practices, ensuring that all athletes are engaged and improving.
- Coach athletes during games, providing strategic insights and fostering a competitive spirit.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff and school administration to support the overall athletic program.
- Promote a culture of respect, integrity, and sportsmanship among players, coaches, and fans.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel regarding expectations, schedules, and player development.
- Ensure compliance with all league rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts and community engagement activities to support the football program.
- Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and strategies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of football strategies, rules, and training techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Commitment to the academic and athletic success of all student-athletes.
- Must pass a background check and comply with district policies and procedures.

Preferred: First Aid and CPR qualified
