Job ResponsibilitiesMidlands Technical College is a public, multi-campus, two-year public college serving the primary region of Richland, Lexington and Fairfield counties of South Carolina that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Must be a current high school teacher employed by a participating high school in Richland, Lexington, or Fairfield county to be eligible - Dual Enrollment Instructors teach high school and Midlands Technical College (MTC) courses at a participating high school. The MTC course, and by extension, the Instructor, are under the purview of MTC and the supervision of the appropriate MTC Department Chair.
- Dual Enrollment Instructors are expected to comply with relevant MTC policies and procedures. Dual enrollment courses shall be equivalent to the pedagogical orientation of the MTC academic department and contain the same student learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes and instructional effectiveness.

This position is located on the Campuses of participating High Schools in Richland, Lexington, and Fairfield Counties. Minimum and Additional RequirementsHigh school teaching experience. High school teachers at participating high schools who desire to teach MTC courses must be vetted by the MTC program.
- Transfer courses require a master's degree and 18 graduate hours in the discipline
- Non-transfer or career course qualifications may vary
- The individual program will identify the minimum qualifications required

I understand that if selected, I will receive guidance through the onboarding process which in part includes the requirements to complete orientation, review a FERPA Fact Sheet, review specific MTC Policies/Procedures, sign and return an acknowledgment, and to complete customer service training through MTC's Learning Management System.
