Summary:

The Private Client Group (PCG) team, within the Advisor Solutions Department (Field Function) at Northwestern Mutual (NM) is focused on helping our most productive and successful advisors build, grow, and transition their practices at NM, while delivering a distinctive and excellent client experience. The High Net Worth (HNW) Solutions team within PCG is accountable for leading creation, design and validation of Ultra/HNW solutions across the enterprise with ultimate objective of assisting our PCG firms to accelerate their U/HNW go-to-market strategies and organic growth through new U/HNW client acquisition.

As a strong business and enterprise leader, in this role, you'll be supporting PCG HNW Solutions leadership and team as well as working closely with some of NM's top firms and enterprise teams such as Wealth, Marketing, Compliance and Sophisticated Planning Strategies, etc.

This role requires a strong background in financial planning domains, financial services compliance & supervision requirements, business analysis, process management, and communication.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support business leadership and day-to-day execution of PCG HNW Solutions team.

  • Conduct analysis, leveraging both NM and industry research, document Business requirements, conduct impact analysis and research to inform solution design and execution. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, updating trackers, and maintaining documentation, etc as needed.

  • Assist with strategy development and execution as it relates to HNW Solutions creation, design and validation through pilot or test & learn as well as quarterly and annual OKR planning activities

  • Provides feedback to leadership. Maintain data and key metrics to inform management decisions. Identify and utilize enterprise-wide resources to find solutions.

  • Collaborate with NM firms and enterprise partners to enhance processes, tools, and field relationships, driving change and fostering strategic partnerships with top NM firms.

  • Review and analyze specific client cases and NM firm use cases as part of fact finding and defining field requirements. Discuss and communicate requirements with PCG HNW Solutions team and enterprise stakeholders.

  • Communicates complex ideas effectively, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others to adopt a different point of view.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.

  • Proven track record of managing and influencing without direct authority.

  • Previous 2-3 years of experience as a consultant or consulting related roles

  • Experience managing complex and diverse team structures focused on developing strong relationships.

  • Proficiency in NM field-focused software systems, including but not limited to FRM/CRM, PX, NIS, CCV.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Able to work in highly ambiguous, constantly evolving and highly agile environment.

  • High degree of follow-through, commitment, personal initiative, and motivation.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently without the need for frequent oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFP, ChFC or equivalent financial planning designation required or working towards CFP, ChFc or equivalent designation within 12 months.

  • PMP or equivalent project management designation or working towards project management designation within 12 months is preferred.

  • High-Net-Worth financial planning experience is a must.

  • Experience within the NM field, preferably as an advisor, AWMA, client services or advisor support roles

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$76,650.00

Pay Range - End:

$142,350.00
