Job Title: Class 2 HIAB Driver

Salary: £15.50ph
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 40hrs per week - up to 10-hour days (occasional Saturdays)
Start Time: Between 05:00 - 08:00
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team in Cambridge. This role involves delivering landscaping products such as tonne bags of soil, shingle, and other materials to various locations. The role requires flexibility as working hours will vary depending on business needs and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a Class 2 HIAB vehicle to deliver landscaping products (soil, shingle, etc.) to customer sites.
Complete 1-4 drops per day within a 1-hour radius to landscaping sites.
Perform pre-operation checks and ensure safe operation of the vehicle and crane.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently using the HIAB crane.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and safety checks.
Maintain a high level of customer service when delivering products to various sites.
ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Assist with loading the vehicle when required.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 licence with HIAB certification.
HIAB certification (essential) to operate the crane safely.
6 points or less on your driving licence (for insurance purposes).
Must be over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes).
Reliable and punctual with excellent communication skills.
A 1-hour assessment will be conducted before starting the role.
Strong understanding of vehicle and crane safety protocols.
Flexible and reliable with the ability to adapt to varying working hours.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Manual driving experience (the vehicle is a manual).
