Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Kent, UK
Salary: 62,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HGV Technician to join our team in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to work with a reputable company, maintaining and servicing a range of heavy goods vehicles, including MAN, IVECO, and Mercedes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs in line with manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems before they become major faults
- Complete all documentation and service records accurately
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of MAN, IVECO, and Mercedes vehicles
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent)
- Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
