GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for immediate starts.
Shifts:
- We are looking for Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work.
0600 starts
Monday to Friday
Average 9 hour shift
Pay & Benefits:
- £15 per hour
- £15.90 per hour after 13 weeks
Please note that pay rates include holiday pay
Main Duties will include:
- Ensuring vehicle walk around and checks are completed before your shift
- 10-15 deliveries per shift
- Liaise with your Drivers mate to check correct orders fulfilled
- Securing loads
- Handball
- Unloading when arriving at Customer premises
- Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
The Candidate:
- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- Presentable with a keen eye for detail
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes will be accepted
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills
- Willing and able to lift up to 20kg
- Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 2 Driver
