Rapid Time Recruit Limited acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers operating walking floor on behalf of our client in Widnes, this is on an ongoing basis Monday Friday with available weekends.
Role of a Class 1 C+E Driver:
- Walking floor trailers both manual and automatic delivering woodchip to power stations.
- Start times NIGHTS 16:00pm 18:00apm
- Start times DAYS 04:00am 06:00am
- Mon Fri, Tue Sat, Sun Thur (Various Available)
- Average 12 - 13- hour shifts
Class 1 C+E HGV drivers will require:
- Valid UK HGV licence (C+E) for 1 year or more.
- Must have a minimum 6-month previous HGV driving experience.
- Previous walking floor experience is preferred but not essential.
- Digital tachograph card CPC card.
- Always be professional and presentable.
- Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
- Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
- No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10 or TT99
PAYE rates are:
- DAYS £14.75 Plus holiday accrual or £16.53 Including Holiday accrual
- NIGHTS £16.00 Plus holiday accrual or £17.93 Including Holiday accrual
- SAT £17.50 Plus holiday accrual or £19.61 Including Holiday accrual
- SUN £19.00 Plus holiday accrual or £21.29 Including Holiday accrual
- Min 8 hours paid
