Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Presque Isle, Maine, Hematology/Oncology Job Clinical Role:

•  7/27/25 - 10/26/25
•  Physician would work Monday through Friday
•  The group would strongly prefer someone who can cover either 4-10s or 5-8s on a full-time basis
•  This request has a strict cutoff of 40/hours per week
•  Call expectations during office closed times i.e. prior to 0800 and after 1630
•  Weekends and holidays full day call
•  1 in 4 rotation
•  Patient load approximately 12-14patients/day
•  9 Exam rooms
•  Will see combination of Hematology and Oncology patients
•  Will see all types of cancer
•  Acute Leukemia patients will usually be referred out to Boston
•  Will manage Bone Marrow/Stem Cell patient's post-transplant
•  In office procedure Bone Marrow Biopsy, Spinal Tap/Intrathecal Chemo
•  Assigned/Unassigned Patients
•  30 Minutes call response time required
•  Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
•  BLS Required
•  Trauma Level II
•  EMR: Cerner
