Job Opportunity: Locum Tenens Physician - Hematology and Oncology

The Providence Cancer Institute features a strong, experienced team of Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, alongside onsite social work and supportive services such as dieticians, palliative care, and an oncology nurse navigator. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care in Hematology and Oncology.
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Perform bone marrow biopsies as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including NP, RNs, and social workers.
- Manage patient care effectively within a flexible scheduling structure.
- Participate in patient consults and follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hematology and Oncology.
- Strong clinical background with previous experience in an outpatient setting.
- Experience performing bone marrow biopsies is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
License and Certification Requirements
- Must possess an active medical license in Oregon.
- Board certification is required.
