Hematology/Oncology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• July - October 2025
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Call Coverage: 2-3 days each week, with a weekend call rotation once every ten weeks

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
• Call Type: Beeper, with a 15-minute response time required
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: Oncology nurses specially trained and licensed in oncology education
• Responsibilities include:
  • Patient examination and treatment administration
  • Supportive care plans and symptom management
  • Patient monitoring and communication
  • New patient consults for hematologic and oncologic referrals
  • Hospital rounds and call coverage
• Access to the latest advancements in cancer treatment, including clinical trials and cutting-edge diagnostic technologies
• Cancer resource center and URAC accredited on-site specialty pharmacy
• Psycho-social support and survivorship care
• Genetic testing, early detection, genetic counseling, education, and support services
• Multidisciplinary team approach including radiation oncology, surgical oncology, breast oncology, gynecologic oncology, colorectal surgery, etc.
• Oncology infusion located within the same facility

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Eligible
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Licensure: Licensed in OK or IMLC
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
