Specialist TeleMed (STeM) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Board-Certified Hematologist to provide virtual consults in an outpatient setting . We are looking for dedicated physicians committed to making a difference in healthcare by providing telemedicine specialist consultations to healthcare systems and the patients who need them the most.

Job Description:

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist to provide virtual consultations for adult patients with hematologic conditions. Some cases may involve oncology-related hematologic disorders. The role is fully remote, offering flexible scheduling while allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual consultations for adult patients with hematologic conditions, including anemia, clotting disorders, platelet disorders, and blood cancers.

• Provide expert medical advice and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with referring physicians, oncologists, and other specialists as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Stay updated with best practices in hematology and telemedicine care.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MD/DO).

• Board Certification in Hematology (or Hematology/Oncology).

• Active medical state licenses in good standing.

• DEA license(s), if applicable.

• Experience using technology to deliver virtual patient care.

• Willingness to learn and use streamlined EMR tools.

• Excellent virtual bedside manner and communication skills.

• Secure work environment free from external noise.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Desktop computer, laptop, cell phone, and/or tablet for video visits.

IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensing Compact) preferred but not required.
