Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Las Cruces, New Mexico, Hematology/Oncology Opening Clinical Role:

•  6/1/25 - Ongoing Need
•  1 week/month July-December with as well as additional coverage needs
•  Hours 8a-5p
•  M-F
•  Weekend call - 24-hour call
•  There will be some call during the weekdays/ to be shared by the employed provider(s).
•  Call consists of questions from RN about: patients who call in with questions, patients who are getting Chemo that day, consults from the ED (these are very minimal)
•  Patients: 17
•  Support Staff: Medical Assistants (1), several RNs
•  Pharm - will do educational starts for Chemo
•  Housed under the same roof as radiation oncology
•  Facility will accept multiple providers
•  Hospital Stroke Certified
•  Phone Consults: 2
•  Assigned/Unassigned Patients
•  20 Minutes call response time required
•  Admissions: 1
•  Call Ratio: 1:2
•  Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
•  Fellowship Preferred
•  BLS Required
•  Trauma Level IV
•  EMR: Mosiaq
