Hematology/Oncology Physician

Coverage Needed

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Schedule: 3 clinic days (Monday-Friday) 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, some weekends and night call (infrequent)

Clinical Details

• Setting: Inpatient consults and Outpatient Clinic
• Call: Weekends 2-3 per year, nights 1:10
• Patient Demographics: Adults/Geriatric
• Case Mix: 80% Hematology, 20% Oncology, no Internal Medicine
• Support Staff: 10 physicians, 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Patient Volume: 10 patients per day for hospital, 15 for outpatient
• Level I Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Connecticut license in hand
• Local candidates - Highly Preferred
