  • Other Details: The facility which is trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 10-15 patients per shift. The facility is seeking Hematology/Oncology coverage starting in April 2025, requiring a provider for two weeks per month (preferably consecutive). The position follows an 8 AM 5 PM, Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional night and weekend call, primarily via phone. The practice consists of one physician and three APPs in a supportive, employed setting with a 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix, averaging 10-15 patients per day. The office utilizes ONCO EMR, has a genetic counselor, a weekly tumor board, and a research department. The program holds multiple national accreditations, including ACOS CoC and NAPBC. Providers have three assigned rooms, RNs perform patient assessments, and a triage nurse handles clinical calls. Inpatient rounding is mainly performed by APPs, as admissions are managed by hospitalists, with oncology consults as needed. The facility does not perform inductions.
