Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is excited to invite innovative and quality-focused physicians to apply for a full-time clinical Hematologist/Oncologist position within our cancer center. This role is vital to expanding and providing exceptional care to our vibrant West Michigan communities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology patient care, including new patient referrals, active treatment, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team ensuring a positive experience for patients, families, and staff.
- Work across two facilities:
- Trinity Health Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center
- Trinity Health Johnson Family Cancer Center
- Access to a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oncology service line and strong ancillary support.
- Engage with extensive networks for referrals and coordinated patient care.
- Participate in research and clinical trials, contributing to cutting-edge practices.
- Collaborate with the University of Michigan for enhanced resources and research access.
- Open to new graduates (must be board-certified within 2 years) and H1B visa candidates (not open to J1).
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained - REQUIRED
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 2 years of eligibility) - REQUIRED
- Michigan license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice history - PREFERRED
- DEA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan medical license or commitment to obtain.
- DEA certification required or willingness to obtain.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required or willingness to obtain.
