Perm - Physician - Hematology Oncology
Join a dedicated healthcare team in Findlay, Ohio, where you will provide essential care to over 1,200 patients each year at a fully comprehensive, CoC accredited, stand-alone regional cancer center. As part of our commitment to improving patient outcomes, we are looking for a Hematologist/Oncologist to join us in this rewarding journey. The center is currently undergoing a complete renovation, enhancing its capabilities with new exam rooms, infusion bays, and advanced technology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work at the Armes Family Cancer Care Center , providing high-quality care in a well-supported environment.
- Follow a traditional schedule with the option for flexible arrangements.
- Engage with a patient mix that includes 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team consisting of RN, MA, and NPs.
- Oversee a variety of onsite services including radiation oncology, infusion therapy, and genetic counseling.
- Participate in Mayo Clinic Care Network eConsult services and eTumor Boards.
- Enjoy autonomy and input in scheduling and operations while being supported by local administration.
- Provide mentorship opportunities and receive ample subspecialty support.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Hematology.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
- Current Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Clean malpractice claims history and active medical license.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain).
