Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology

This locum position is set to start in April 2025, and the facility is seeking dedicated individuals to ensure continued outstanding service as part of their medical team.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a key member of the clinical patient care team, performing medical oncologist/hematologist tasks and procedures.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and management.
- Provide outpatient care to a diverse patient population, averaging 10-15 patients per day.
- Participate in the on-call schedule, providing coverage one weekend a month with a call rotation of 1 in 4.
- Collaborate with other physicians and advanced practice providers in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Attend to inpatient needs as required when patients are admitted for chemotherapy.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in BOTH Hematology and Oncology - REQUIRED.
- Active Oregon state license - PREFERRED; providers needing to obtain a license will be considered.
- Clean background with no malpractice history - HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Self-query from NPDB required at the time of presentation.
- CAQH login and password required at the time of offer.
- Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges.
License and Certification Requirements:
- BLS certification is required.
- Documentation of DEA - verbal confirmation required at name clear.
- Completion of 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training before commencing duties.
- Orientation will be compensated at half the hourly rate.
