Job Opportunity: Physician - Hematology Oncology in Boise, ID
Join a dynamic and mission-driven multispecialty group in Boise, Idaho, as a Hematology Oncologist. With over 650 providers, our facility is QOPI certified and accredited by the Commission on Cancer through the American College of Physicians. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in the expansion and backfill coverage.
- Cover inpatient and outpatient services, including rounds and clinics.
- Engage in weekly tumor boards for collaboration with fellowship-trained surgeons.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system and AI tools for enhanced compliance.
- Maintain a 4-day work week with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time.
- Share on-call duties equitably with a schedule of 1:7.
- Work with a dedicated 10-bed inpatient unit at the facility.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program & Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Fellowship training in Medical Oncology/Hematology.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Open to H1B candidates; J1 candidates will not be considered.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Idaho and Oregon medical licenses (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS) (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certification (to become Board Certified within 3 years of employment).
