Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician
MacNeal Cancer Center, located in the vibrant suburbs of Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology physician to enhance our team. This outpatient free-standing community cancer center serves a diverse population and offers a collaborative environment for healthcare professionals. With a focus on adult patients and a direct connection to a nearby university medical campus, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cancer care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in Hematology and Oncology (50% each).
- Manage an average outpatient clinic with approximately 75 patients per day.
- Conduct hospital call and rounding for 2 patients per day.
- Collaborate with the radiology oncology team at Loyola University Medical Campus.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and electronic medical records.
- Participate in a practice with one other physician, with no APPs onsite.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology (REQUIRED).
- Valid Illinois medical license or willingness to obtain (REQUIRED).
- COVID-vaccinated (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology.
- IL medical license (or agreement to obtain).
- COVID-19 vaccination proof required.
