Permanent Hematology/Oncology Physician Opportunity
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in Ashtabula, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician. ARMC, affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic, offers a vibrant community environment along with access to specialized healthcare resources. Join a multispecialty practice featuring over 60 providers, including 21 primary care specialists, in a community-focused setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage 15-20 outpatient patients and 3-5 hospital patients per day.
- Work full-time with a negotiable schedule.
- Be on call for 10 days per month, including some weekends.
- Serve a patient population comprising 50% adults and 50% geriatrics.
- Engage in 25% hematology and 75% oncology practice.
- Collaborate with 2 other physicians in practice.
- Utilize EMR - EPIC for efficient patient care.
- Quick credentialing process of 30-60 days, dependent on timely information submission.
- Relocate or reside within a 40-mile radius from Ashtabula.
- Positions available for H-1B and J-1 visa candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid Ohio medical license, or willingness to obtain one.
- BLS and ACLS certification by the time of employment commencement.
- Experience with various procedures including management of VAD/CV catheters, biopsies, and chemotherapy.
- Active participation on a Tumor Board and competency in ordering tests and prescribing treatments.
License and Certification Requirements:
- State experience with required procedures and duties.
