A large university cancer center is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Central Georgia.
The role is focused on malignant hematology, including leukemia, bone marrow transplant, lymphoma, and myeloma, with a caseload of 812 adult patients. The provider will work three 12-hour shifts per week, with no call or callbacks, and will be responsible for rounding. Required skills include inpatient medicine experience, handling high-acuity patients, strong communication, and efficient time management. NPs must hold an acute care credential along with BLS and ACLS certifications; DEA is not required. EPIC is used for documentation, and support is provided by a discharge coordinator and PharmD.
