Key Responsibilities:
- Work at assigned hospital facilities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and work with physicians to create evidence-based care plans for oncology patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and personalized care.
- Administer specialized treatments and interventions under physician supervision.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and collaborative research projects.
- Serve as the practice leader in assigned areas communicating with hospitalists and other specialists to ensure continuity of care.
- Develop strong relationships with hospitalists and other specialists.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing. (Required)
- Current certification as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) or ability to obtain with support from The Oncology Institute. (Preferred)
- State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. (Required)
- 2 years of clinical experience in oncology nursing. (Preferred)
