Northwell Health Cancer Institute is seeking a board eligible/board certified Hematologist with experience and practice focus in Adult Sickle Cell disease to join the Northwell Health Cancer Institute Rego Park in Queens, NY. The team is composed of a large, dynamic, and diverse group of clinicians, educators, and researchers from multiple professions eager to take on the challenge of the patient-centered, comprehensive care and multiple treatment paths of this specialized patient population. Northwell Health provides comprehensive care for sickle cell disease, including both pediatric and adult services through age-specific clinics, treatment options like hydroxyurea and blood transfusions, and stem cell transplantation and gene therapy. The Sickle Cell specialist will be an integral part of Northwell s adult Hematology division with research and teaching opportunities of fellows, residents and medical students.
