Position Summary Safe Haven Security is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Helpdesk Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring their IT issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
In this role you will: - Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computers, printers, networks, and software applications
- Document and track all support requests using our ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or relevant departments as needed
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software
- Maintain and update user accounts and permissions in various systems
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on software applications and best practices
- Stay current with new technologies and IT trends to better assist users

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
What Safe Haven requires in a candidate: - High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and Active Directory
