Our client is looking for a driven and dependable Help Desk Support Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. While the role is primarily on-site, there may be occasional opportunities for hybrid work down the line. You'll provide hands-on support, take ownership of incoming issues, and be part of a team that values initiative and follow-through.


Location: 5 days on site 8:30-5pm, in Munster, IN


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to 40-60 support calls per day, providing frontline technical assistance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 level issues-escalate to Tier 2 as needed
  • Handle Active Directory tasks (e.g., account lockouts, password resets)
  • Log and track issues using our ticketing system
  • Proactively resolve simple tickets and assist with team coordination when needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of IT Helpdesk or technical support experience
  • Familiar with Active Directory and basic account administration
  • Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
  • A+ Certification is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset-you listen, problem-solve, and follow through
  • Someone who's hungry to learn, grow, and possibly move into field or project roles in the future
