Help Desk Specialist with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Help Desk Specialist to support a federal program in the Colorado Springs, CO area. The Help Desk Specialist will provide technical support to and assistance to end users. Responsibilities of the Help Desk Specialist: Troubleshoot IT issues, maintain system functionality, and provide excellent customer service Respond to help desk inquiries via phone, email and ticketing systems Diagnose and resolve any hardware, software and network issues Assist users with account creations, lockouts, password resets, and system access Install, configure and maintain computer systems and applications Document technical problems and resolutions in logs Ensure timely resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime Escalate any inquiries as needed Qualifications of the Help Desk Specialist: 1+ years of help desk, service desk, call center, or network admin experience Experience with creating accounts, account lockouts, password resets and documenting in incident management system Must be willing to work in a rotational on-call schedule Must hold ACTIVE Secret clearance Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist: Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 based on relevant experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO (Paid Time Off), Paid Holidays, Sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 5/23/2025.
