Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide Tier II IT support a DoD program in fully onsite Arlington, VA.
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET OR TS CLEARANCE
MUST HAVE A COMPTIA SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2 IT support for end users and VIPs
• Troubleshoot various hardware and software issues using Cisco, Palo Alto, and Microsoft tools
• Troubleshoot, test, analyze, and maintain various network systems such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems
• Perform Active Directory user account administration and password resets
• Manage and resolve incident support tickets in BMC Remedy and ServiceNow
• Answer questions for users via phone, email, live chat, and instant message
Requirements:
• Must have an Active DoD Secret or TS Clearance
• Must have a CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent/higher level certification
• Must have experience working in a DoD/Military environment
• 2-3+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Network Administration, and/or Mobile Device Management
• Experience providing technical support for software applications, mobile devices, hardware, and network systems
• Experience using some or most of the following systems: BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Active Directory, SharePoint, Windows 10, Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto, Intune, Purebred, Adobe, etc.
Compensation:
Salary Range:$65,000 - $70,000 depending on experience/degree
