Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Help Desk Specialist to support a federal program in the Annapolis, MD area. The Help Desk Specialist will provide technical support to and assistance to end users.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Specialist:
  • Troubleshoot IT issues, maintain system functionality, and provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to help desk inquiries via phone, email and ticketing systems
  • Diagnose and resolve any hardware, software and network issues
  • Assist users with account creations, lockouts, password resets, and system access
  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems and applications
  • Document technical problems and resolutions in logs
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime
  • Escalate any inquiries as needed
Qualifications of the Help Desk Specialist:
  • 1+ years of help desk, service desk, call center, or network admin experience
  • Experience with creating accounts, account lockouts, password resets and documenting in incident management system
  • Must be willing to work in a rotational on-call schedule
  • Must hold ACTIVE Secret clearance
Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist:
  • Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 based on relevant experience
