Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified
Help Desk Specialist to support a federal program in the Annapolis, MD area. The
Help Desk Specialist will provide technical support to and assistance to end users.
Responsibilities of the Help Desk Specialist: - Troubleshoot IT issues, maintain system functionality, and provide excellent customer service
- Respond to help desk inquiries via phone, email and ticketing systems
- Diagnose and resolve any hardware, software and network issues
- Assist users with account creations, lockouts, password resets, and system access
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems and applications
- Document technical problems and resolutions in logs
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime
- Escalate any inquiries as needed
Qualifications of the Help Desk Specialist: - 1+ years of help desk, service desk, call center, or network admin experience
- Experience with creating accounts, account lockouts, password resets and documenting in incident management system
- Must be willing to work in a rotational on-call schedule
- Must hold ACTIVE Secret clearance
Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist: - Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 based on relevant experience
