About the Opportunity We are a third-party recruiting agency seeking a Help Desk Support professional for one of our client companies based in Manhattan, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about IT support and are looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic and professional environment.
Job Summary The Help Desk Support staff will be responsible for assisting end users with a variety of technical issues, ranging from user onboarding to Microsoft 365 troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of relevant Help Desk experience (candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate equivalent skill levels).
Key Responsibilities - Help Desk Support for End Users, including:
- MS Office 365, SharePoint and Teams Management
- Site creation and member assignment
- Troubleshooting and group control
- Exchange Online Management
- Email and distribution group setup and support
- User Onboarding and Offboarding
- PC setup, user account control, and backup handling
- General Inquiry and Support
- Audit data download support, AWS Workspace deployment, and access troubleshooting
- IT Maintenance Tasks
- Proxy maintenance, access control, and other infrastructure-related assistance
- Other Troubleshooting Tasks
- Windows PC, M365 login issues, AWS Workspace-related problems
- While the primary duty is Help Desk support, the candidate may also assist with IT infrastructure tasks such as network device configuration and maintenance, as needed and depending on availability.
Qualifications - Language: English proficiency required; bilingual in Japanese is a plus
- Experience: At least 1 year of Help Desk experience preferred (flexible for candidates with relevant skills)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and basic IT infrastructure is preferred
