Contact: Judy Bolton, Sr. Technical Recruiter Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for a Help Desk Technician, Tier 2. This position is 100% onsite at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance; an unexpired Security+ certificate is preferred but not required. This position pays between $70,000 - $75,000 and is based on each candidate's skills and professional experience. You will be working in a fast-paced, VIP environment. Help Desk Technician Tier 2 Responsibilities:
• Performs in-depth analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop and workstations.
• Assists with help desk duties to include installation and administration of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Serves as the point of contact for escalated Tier One troubleshooting of PC Hardware and Software, printer problems and network applications.
• Provides mobile device support - smartphones, tablets, laptops.
• Provide wireless support, such as printers, scanners, CAC readers; coordinates requirements for wireless assets as requested.
• Installs, tests, and operates wireless and data communication network devices. Help Desk Technician Tier 2 Qualifications: please make sure your resume reflects your skills and experiences as related to the qualifications and responsibilities. • 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field, specialized experience in PC and wireless technologies including knowledge of PC operating systems, networking and mail standards and experience working with a team in a help desk environment. REQUIRED: experience with secure Mobile device Management: including smartphones, tablets, laptops.
• Security+ Certification preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate orally and in writing and must have a positive customer service attitude.
• Experience in services of Information Technology assets and NMCI accounts for the Navy is a plus. Why should you work for Mindbank?
