This position is responsible for providing timely technical assistance and problem resolution for internal customers by involving necessary resources to creatively and effectively address technical issues. This position will be responsible for supporting multiple client operating systems and platforms. This position will be responsible for logging and responding to ServiceNow incidents that originate from emails, user generated tickets, and phone calls. The position will also be responsible for running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, creating and updating documentation, and implementing solutions. This position will work effectively with other IT teams, Corporate departments, business units, consultants and service providers to ensure timely resolution of all technical issues while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities: - Provide support for Information Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing internal customers regarding software or hardware functionality. - 40%
- Determine the most effective manner to resolve client's technical issue. Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. Consults with other IT teams, departments, and vendors when necessary. - 20%
- Reimage and deploy computers to internal customers. - 15%
- Build and maintain documentation. - 10%
- Proactive monitoring and alerting on systems and environmental health. - 10%
- Manage hardware and software assets. - 5%
- React to changes positively, handle other essential tasks as assigned, and productively challenge the status quo as appropriate.
Requirements: - College degree or higher.
- 3-5 years of technical support experience
- Must be able to perform intermediate to advanced computer troubleshooting with PC and Mac hardware and software.
- Must have intermediate skills in Active Directory and Exchange account administration.
- Must be knowledgeable with mobile device technology and synchronization with Office 365. Knowledge of home network technologies.
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience of service desk concepts and toolsets including ITIL, knowledge management, and ServiceNow.
- As a member of a service organization, ability to effectively communicate technical topics to various levels of internal customers and outside business partners. Interact with customers with empathy and in a mature and pleasant manner.
- Ability to think analytically and solve problems creatively.
