Tokai Carbon CB, a world class manufacturer of high-quality carbon blacks, is seeking a Help Desk Administrator to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for managing user and workstation administration across all facilities. Working closely with the IT team, the Help Desk Administrator will play a vital role in triaging requests during the critical hyper care phase of projects.
Essential Functions • Follow Cyber Security compliance and standard operating procedures, set by industry and company standards.
• Serve as initial point of contact regarding all IT issues.
• Participate in the testing of technology solutions.
• Maintain Standard Operating procedures and company wiki.
• Recognize, troubleshoot and resolve end-point issues.
• End Point Management (Workstations and peripherals, Mobile Devices, Conference Rooms, etc)
• Identity Management (Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, PIM)
• Imaging and Software deployments (Windows, Office, Teams, Adobe, etc)
This role will perform work in the plant environment and as such require working in an environment exposed to carbon black, the elements and physical demands such as walking, crawling, working in tight spaces.
Required Education and Experience - Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent field of study, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 3 or more years supporting Windows based operating systems
- 3 or more years Microsoft O365 suite, Adobe, and other applications
- 3 or more years working in Service Desk and/or Ticketing system
- 3 or more years working on computer hardware
- 3 or more years imaging computers
- Strong oral, written and analytical skills required
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to establish a solid working relationship with end users and peers
Preferred Education & Experience- Troubleshooting of IT issues in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Mobile Device Management
- Experience creating workstation Images
