Heavy Equipment Shop Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on large heavy construction equipment, addressing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
- Utilize diverse methods and tools for accurate diagnosis and effective repair.
- Execute assigned tasks with minimal need for re-work.
- Safely operate tools and service equipment
- Place orders for necessary parts and materials to fulfill work assignments.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols consistently.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including time clocking, collection records, SOC reports, and maintain relevant records, photos, or other materials as required.
Job Requirements
Heavy Equipment Shop Technician Requirements:
-3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment required
- Volvo construction equipment repair experience preferred
- Additional vocational or technical training in heavy/diesel equipment is a plus
