Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician Whittier, CA $40-$50 per hour
A leading heavy equipment dealership in Whittier, CA is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work on top-tier construction equipment from brands like John Deere, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, JCB, and more while providing expert diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in the field.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy construction equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Perform routine preventative maintenance on fuels, fluids, lubrication, and industrial hydraulic, electrical, air, and water systems
Conduct inspections and document service records
Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations
Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site at client locations
Experience & QualificationsFive or more years of experience servicing and maintaining heavy construction equipment
High school diploma or GED
Strong diagnostic and repair skills for diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Must be a team player with strong communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus but not required)
Compensation & Benefits$40 - $50 per hour, based on experience
