We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager or Project Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires a deep understanding of construction management, civil engineering principles, and the ability to lead diverse teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale heavy civil construction projects, expereince with W/WW is a plus.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of heavy civil construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Develop and implement project work plans and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
5. Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
6. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
7. Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
8. Review and approve project designs and deliverables.
9. Identify and resolve any potential issues or work discrepancies to ensure project stays on schedule.
10. Provide regular updates to stakeholders about project status and progress.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
4. Demonstrated experience in project management applications and software.
5. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
6. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team and make important decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
