We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Heavy Civil Project Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager will report directly to the President.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and third parties for flawless execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
- Communicate project updates, roadblocks, and success metrics to stakeholders.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure projects align with company goals and client expectations.
- Manage construction-related documentation, including submittals, RFls, RFCs, VCPs, and general communication ledgers
- Create and manage progress payment Wishlist, ensuring accurate tracking of project financials and payment schedules monthly
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Project Management or Civil Engineering (Preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in project management, five plus (5+) years preferred but not required
- Two years of on-the-ground construction experience preferred (foreman, laborer, operator, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Working familiarity with federal, state, and local governmental agencies
- Familiar with developing project estimates in a competitive setting, including cost analysis and bid preparation
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6
- Must have a clear MVR, a valid driver's license, and be insurable.
