Maintenance Technician
Location: Oxford, OH
Pay Rate: $25.62 - $31.00 per hour
Schedule: Nights & Weekends (Typically Mon-Thurs 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Weekends 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders related to facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general systems. This role also includes supporting inspections, contributing to facility operations, and carrying out general maintenance tasks such as interior repairs and equipment moves.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems and components
- Inspect building facilities and report any findings affecting client operations
- Conduct general maintenance tasks including hanging pictures, repairing office furniture, and fixing doors
- Assist in equipment and building repairs as directed
- Move and set up office furniture, equipment, and materials as needed
- Replace lighting, change HVAC filters and belts, and clean coils
- Complete work orders using CMMS systems (e.g., 360 Facility)
- Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned
Safety Compliance:
- Conduct hazard assessments as needed
- Follow all safety policies and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas
- Comply with state and local codes, ordinances, and safety training requirements
- Practice safe handling, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Always apply defensive driving practices when required
Administrative Duties:
- Submit receipts and daily reports for purchasing card transactions
- Update work order statuses in real time
- Perform vehicle inspections if driving is part of the role
- Escalate issues to management as needed
- Participate in regular safety and team meetings
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license (if driving is required for the position)
- Experience in general maintenance including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and interior facility tasks
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for managing work orders and documentation
- Ability to work nights and weekends on a rotating schedule
