Title: Systems Application Analyst II

The Systems Applications Analyst II (Senior Analyst) is responsible for the design, build, testing, migration, coordination, training support, and customer troubleshooting related to product development. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows and the functionality and maintenance of software systems supporting specific service lines. The Systems Application Analyst II will independently prioritize system initiatives in a collaborative team setting and provide ongoing mentorship to team members.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced system design initiatives to optimize the EMR system
- Design electronic solutions to improve workflows in both clinical and non-clinical settings
- Facilitate work prioritization for assigned service lines
- Coordinate communication and implementation of regular system updates
- Develop targeted communications for a range of stakeholders from end users to executives
- Conduct functional testing to ensure production integrity, including third-party and downstream applications
- Evaluate proposed builds for governance group review to ensure alignment and functionality
- Coordinate complex integration efforts across applications and operational leaders
- Manage individual and team priorities in a dynamic environment
- Lead root cause analysis activities to enhance team problem-solving capabilities
- Organize and monitor assignments and initiatives for accountability and completion
- Stay current on industry best practices related to IT and clinical system builds
- Support and promote application direction and strategic development
- Demonstrate population-specific competencies, ensuring interactions are respectful and culturally appropriate
Position Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of healthcare application support experience required
- Ability to understand application functionality and how it applies to operational processes
- Strong analytical and workflow integration skills
- Proven experience coordinating cross-team efforts and presenting organized solutions
- Ability to mentor peers, set priorities, and solve problems with minimal supervision
- Ability to be adaptable to evolving environments and capable of leading change
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; relevant Industry Certifications preferred
